NEW BATHROOM FLOOR...
Well, I have finally finished my bathroom floor!! YAY!! I started the project about a week ago and now I can finally take a shower in my own bathroom. The project, all in all, went well and I only had to call in Jeff towards the end. I had to make odd cuts in the flooring, so I pleaded my case of not having a fabricating bone in my body and he came to my rescue. What a man!

Christmas...
Haven't posted in awhile, sorry.
Well all in all Christmas was great this year! It started off on Christmas Eve.(my Birthday) at my parents' house for dinner and opening gifts. Christmas morning we woke to many gifts around the tree. The kids had so many great gifts and get more and more excited and animated about what they get as they grow, it's adorable!! I must have been a really good girl this year too! I got photo editing software, a Fossil watch, Uggs, a big awesome clock, Sirius for my car, books, home decor, and table presentation bakeware. After gifts we went to Rex and Charla's for Christmas dinner and games. We had a blast!!
My husband, kids, and family are so awesome. Could I be any more blessed?!
Have a safe New Year's!

San Fransisco...
The day after Thanksgiving my Mother-in-Law, Charla, and I drove to San Fransisco to meet Elyse for a mini vacation. After traveling through an insane amount of traffic (it took us a little over an hour to go 6 tenths of a mile) we finally arrived at one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been in. The Saint Francis Weston Inn is one of the historical buildings in the heart of downtown, just across from Union Square. Although when I was walking through the hallways, I couldn't help but feel like the hotel was haunted.
Our first night there we were going to a Symphony and dinner. That night while getting ready we watched the tree lighting in Union Square from our hotel room. Four women in one room with one bathroom, it is a miracle we were all able to look as hot as we did let alone just get ready. The symphony was an interesting experience. I could appreciate the passion and discipline that the musicians displayed, however it was a bit too long! Zzzzzzzzzzzz... After the symphony we went to the Cheesecake Factory on top of Macy's, yum!! Then went back to the room for some much needed rest. Charla and I barely slept because of all of the snoring from the next door bed ;o}
Saturday I woke up at 7:30 and started to get ready to go shopping. Dorothy, Charla, and I were all ready to go at about 9:00, but had to wait for Elyse to get her lazy but out of bed and get get ready! So we ended up leaving the room at 10:15. Had breakfast at The Sears and headed of to the stores. I bought make up at MAC, face care stuff from the Body Shop, and a sweater, a bra and undie set from Victoria's Secret and three shirts from the Gap. After all of our shopping we went to the Orpheum Theatre for the Phantom of the Opera(it was a awesome musical), and back to the Cheesecake Factory.
Sunday we had to get Elyse off the airport and headed home. Before we left we went to Borders, and Fisherman's Wharf. We walked through some of the neat shops there and had lunch. We did not even leave San Fransisco until 4:00, wow time had flown by.
I had a wonderful time and was glad I went...

REGGIE CAME HOME...
After 10 long days at the Vet Hospital, Reggie came home yesterday. He is still not out of the woods and is on strict bed rest, which I am sure you can imagine is not so easy for a 1 1/2 year old Yorkie. He is very happy to be home none the less, and I am happy to have him home too! He has some weird side effects from his injuries though; For instance when you pet him or scratch him you can hear/feel crackling under his skin from all of the leaked air popping(kind of like those packing bubbles). A bit disturbing! His lung also inflates on the outside of his ribs in between his skin and ribs, kind of like a permenant life jacket. Again, a bit disturbing! The Doctor said it all SHOULD go away in time.
On a lighter note:
I will leave for San Fransisco the day after Thanksgiving for a couple of days with my Mother-in-law and Sister(s)-in-law for a mini-vacation. Yay! I am so excited, but money is a bit tight with having to pay the large vet bills that I just paid (more to follow with check up and such). Oh well, at least I get a few days away. We are going to a Symphany, a play, and shopping. I just received an email about dress code, so I guess I have to go buy a Cocktail dress or Business dress of some kind. I have not yet attended a Symphany (so that should be neat), I love shopping, and a play should be fun (I really enjoyed the last one I went to, it was a hoot!)
I will write more later...buh bye...

We had a very Happy Halloween...
Our Halloween this year was safe, fun, and successful! Friday as most of you know was Halloween, and for all of us moms that means rushing around and chaos. Two of my kids had Halloween parties and parades. I had to be at the school with the Camarie and Natalie dressed in their costumes at 1:00 to help get Jeffrey and Mackinley dressed in their costumes. After helping at the school and attending Halloween parites until 3:00, I had to go to Nana and Papa's house so they could see the kids in their costumes, meet Aunt Charla, Scot, and Uncle Rex at Grandma and Grandpa's house for pizza at 5:15, and then of course trick or treat as soon as it got dark. Those last few hours of the day seemed like they were only 10 minutes.
Trick or treating was very fun! We walked around Gatewood to let the kids trick or treat for about an hour.
Gatewood was nice, almost every door had their porch light on and quite a few houses were decorated nicely, and we were given' a ton of candy!
I would like to formerly thank Halloween for these next few lbs. I will be gaining.
Hope you all had just as much fun...

Had a rough week, and there is still 2 more days left...
So, where to begin...
Monday afternoon Reggie (my Yorkie) went outside to potty while the kids were out playing. He didn't come back within his normal time frame, so I kept calling him and went driving to his normal hangouts. I had no luck, and went to bed with a heavy mind. The next morning I woke and went to let the other doggies out to go potty, when low and behold there is Reggie shaking at the door. I let him go warm himself under the bed for awhile, and when I went to check on him he was ill and in pain. At closer inspection I could feel his lung was between his skin and ribs. You could feel every breath in great detail and hear the gurgling from all the blood inside. I called the Vet and rushed him in right away. The Vet confirmed my thoughts, and said the outcome was dreary but there is always a chance. So I had to leave him there for the next few days to let him stable out and determine what, if anything, could be done.
So I left in a tizzy, drove to the Post Office and home. I walk in the house and go to the sink to wash my hands. I am in the middle of washing my hands when I notice, "HOLY FRICKEN' CRAP MY WEDDING RING IS GONE!!" I ask outloud in a sarcastic voice, "are you fricken' kidding me?" Nope. I call and leave my number at the Post Office, the Vet office, and everywhere else in the world. For the next 2 days I tear my house apart from bottom to top, look in every knook and cranny, and through everything I possibly can. Nope, no ring. I am sick to my stomach and my blood pressure is sky high. Today, Wednesday, I get a phone call at 4:45pm from the Post Office, she explains that someone has found a ring in the shrubs by the walkway and the people want me to call with a description. Could it be? I sure hope so! What are the odds? So I call this number and describe to the lady what my ring looks like, and she says "sounds perfect, looks like it's your's". I say can I come and get it? Where do you live? She starts to tell me and I say, "I think you live across the street from me". Yep, it was my nieghbor. Oh, thank the Lord!!
Reggie still has a few more days of observation and diagnosis though, so I hope it is good news for him too.
I will keep you updated...

Busy weekend...
Well, it is the weekend already. I had a pretty great week leading up to it; I officially passed my mid term (yet still have my doubts for the State Final), Natalie's Birthday is today but we celebrated her on Wednesday at Abby's pizza. She had fun and was adorable the whole time. Thank you everybody for the gifts and coming to help us celebrate her.
This weekend should be event filled and productive for me. I am ripping my Master Bathroom floor out tonight and getting it ready for laying the new floor. I hope to get to Home Depot tomorrow and get the floor and any other preparation tools needed. Yay!
Jeff and I are going to our 2nd Poker Run, hopefully, it starts at 11:00am and goes for a few hours/stops ending up at live music and food. I am so excited to ride again, it has been atleast a month since I have been able to. I hope the weather stays constant for the next few days, the weather stations say it should but you never know in Klamath.
Sunday is usually our day of leisure, but Jeff is going wood cutting again. I will be waiting at home for him so we can do some tractor work and winterizing.
I know what your thinking...ahh I wish I had such a cool life. But you'll just have to comes to terms with the fact that it is not, sorry. ;o}
